Jeffrey John Morrow

Jeffery John Morrow, born March 4, 1960 in Houston, Texas to Helen and Ford Morrow, passed away on Wednesday, March 23, 2022 from his battle with neuroendocrine cancer surrounded by family and loved ones. Jeff was preceded in death by his father Ford Morrow. He is survived by his son, Michael Morrow and daughter-in-law, Ashley Morrow; his granddaughters, Aubrey, Ava, Adelyn and Abigail; his two brothers, David and Greg Morrow; his mother, Helen Irene Morrow; and countless loving cousins and family. Jeff spent his career as a mechanic, fixer, and handyman. He gave his time and his efforts freely, especially to those in need. Jeff was also an avid outdoorsman who was passionate about experiencing every possible moment with friends and loved ones in the wide open spaces of Texas. His passion was infectious to those lucky enough to experience these moments with him and it lives on through the ones who loved him the most. Most who experienced the outdoors with Jeff still tell stories about their time with him. Jeff never met a stranger and always carried with him a smile and his joking nature. He would never pass up an opportunity to cook a hot meal for a loved one. His passion for nature and animals will continue to leave an impact on those who knew him, especially his granddaughters who will continue his love for fishing, snake hunting and turtles. His son and family know that he’s in a better place, full of peace and tranquility. He will be greatly missed. A Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated at 11:00 am, on Friday, April 1, 2022, at Corpus Christi Catholic Church, 9900 Stella Link Road in Houston, Texas. Jeff will be laid to rest at Forest Park Westheimer, 12800 Westheimer Road in Houston, Texas. For those who do not wish to witness the burial are welcome to head directly to BH Ranch, 14149 Player Street in Houston, Texas where we will gather until 5:00 p.m., to share our favorite memories and to celebrate the life of Jeff, followed by a luncheon served in his honor. Donations may be made to Living Wild Outside in memory of Jeff Morrow. Living Wild Outside is a 501c3 organization that focuses on the rehabilitation of snakes, lizards, turtles, tortoises, toads, and frogs.
